I will give you full details on how to book your

increase cost of oil, price quoted are not guaranteed.
It is recommended that flight be secured as quickly
as possible.
Airfare
within Asia: $540-830 (as of 5/1; costs include
taxes)
The cost of flighs from Yangon to Luang Prabang
(via Bangkok) and from Luang Prabang to Siem
Reap currently ranges between $540-$830. $540
is through the use of discounted Bangkok Air
Passes and $830 is via regular scheduled flights.
We will try for the Bangkok Airpasses but seats
are limited and not guaranteed until purchased.
It is advisable to book seats on Bangkok Air
as soon as possible; the longer you wait, the
greater the chance seats will not be available
on desired flights. Scotts Tours will not be
responsible for any expenses incurred if you
are not able to secure reservations on flights
coinciding with the itineary. After you submit
your application, I will send you full flight
details and procedures for obtaining
reservations.
Round
Trip to Asia: $1248 plus taxes and surcharge
The
tour begins in Yangon, Myanmar and ends in Siem
Reap, Cambodia. A group flight on Singapore Airlines
to and from these destinations has been arranged
through New World Tours in San Francisco. The routing
of this “group flight” coincides with
the tour itinerary . and the connections are very
convenient. You have the option to take this flight
or provide your own transportation to Asia. The
base cost of this flight is $1248. This is discounted
costs and is a great price for a top notch international
airline. Taxes and fuel charges are extra
(as of 6/1 = $455) and undoubtedly will increase
as the cost of oil increases. Therefore it's in
your best interest to book your flights as soon
as possible. After you submit your application,
I will send you full flight details and procedures
for obtaining reservations.
Please call or contact me for an application. Your place will be held on first come first serve basis with a $250 deposit (see cancellation policies below). I expect this tour to fill quickly and thus advise early enrollment.
Deadlines
All
applications and full payment are due by September 1,
2008. However,
due to increasing costs of flight and the limited availablity
of Bangkok Air Passes, it is highly advisable to submit
your application and procure your airfare as soon as
possible.
Cancellations
Before
September 1, 2008
If you cancel before September 1, 2008, all deposits and monies
paid are fully refundable.
After
September 1, 2008
If you cancel after September 1, accommodation and ground travel
expenses you have paid can only be refunded if: 1) someone fills
your place or 2) to the extent I am able to obtain refunds from
vendors in India (some vendors do not refund deposit money; others
require a cancellation fee).
Two orientation meetings are held to thoroughly prepare tour participants for their trip. We cover everything you need to do to prepare as well as orient you to what to expect once we arrive in India. Plus it's a good way to get to know the others with whom you'll be traveling. Meetings are held in Oakland, California on:
Sunday,
September 21, 2008 from 4:30-6:30
Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 4:30-6:30
After each meeting, we often go out for a meal at a nearby Indian Restaurant.
Excursion
to a local Hindu Temple on July 26
Come
join people who have been on one of my previous
tours as we take our yearly excursion to the Shiva-Vishu
Hindu temple in Livermore. It's a good way to get
a taste of India, meet others who have been on
tours with me, and ask any questions you might
have. Afterwards we'll stop at an India restaurant
for lunch. Saturday July 26 from 10:00-2:00 pm.
